ENCS, Ford & Harley-Davidson Sponsors the June 2009 COB Speicher Boxing Smoker - The Showdown
June 5th, 2009 COB Speicher Iraq – Exchange New Car Sales were delighted to be involved with the COB Speicher Boxing Smoker once again. ENCS involvement with this event has become somewhat traditional recently, and provides us with a wonderful opportunity to get out there and mingle with the troops.
1700 People were in attendance at the Speicher main gym, to witness 11 rounds of adrenalin filled action. The night was made special because the bouts were designed to pit the troops of COB Speicher against those from FOB Summerall, whos troops made the trip up the road to Speicher for the event.
ENCS sponsored 11 rounds of the action, and local representatives Billy Murphy / Russell Connolly participated in giving AAFES gift certificates to the winners and losers of each bout at the final presentation, along with the FOB Commander CNL Staats, Deputy FOB Commander LTC Moncus, and MAJ Gen Caslin – MNFI North.
The night was made even more special for ENCS as Billy and Russell received an award at the interval of the 6th round for their involvement in the COB Speicher community over recent months from Deputy FOB Commander, LTC Bettina M Moncus.
